Any recommendations for food purchases/shipping for Christmas gifts?
I've done the Pittman & Davis fruit, and Whitley's peanuts. Last year I sent salmon from a company in Washington state. I've probably used a few others before, but would like to find somewhere new...and good. Who do you recommend?

Corporate or Personal ? (my own humble opinion inside)
having been the recipient of many corporate gifts, I'm not really a fan. Whether it's holiday nuts, steaks, popcorn or cheese, it just seems to me a waste. Half the stuff doesn't get eaten, and you're left with a fancy package that just goes into the trash. I honestly believe that an Amazon gift card (the plastic ones you buy rather than electronic) and a short handwritten note make a better gift. Everyone can use them, it's easier in terms of shipping and packaging and disposal, and you save yourself trying to figure out what type of food people like. It's a gift that actually gets used. I know there are people that think gift cards aren't personal enough, hence the mailing of a card and a handwritten note. On that note, how personal is a giant tin of popcorn with Santa Claus on the outside? If personal, I think gift cards are even better. My house is filled with "stuff", and Amazon is essentially cash that I can use on myself. If you know the person well enough, and it's appropriate, buy booze. Preferably the kind you can drink together. Or handmade gift cards for H&B.

For questions like this, I turn to Shark Tank
Boarderie is a good one -- charcuterie boards by mail. My cousin brought one to a family gathering last year and it was delish. https://boarderie.com/ If they're a meat fan, try Moink. https://www.moinkbox.com/ This one isn't Shark Tank, but if you want to send something that has Virginia roots, Red Truck Bakery in Warrenton and Marshall has amazing baked goods that they ship nationally via GoldBelly.
