VT goes to the ACCCG if Miami beats Louisville and UNC/VT win their last 2

Since the three teams didn't play each other in season, the next tie-breaker is based on best record against common opponents, which would be: Pitt, UVA and NCSU. UL lost to Pitt and UNC lost to UVA, and (big IF) we win out, we beat all three!

Not hoping for a rematch against FSU
We have been demolished by FSU once this year along with a far superior team in UL, let them get FSU in ACCCG while we play someone on our level. I don't enjoy seeing VT get beaten down by next level teams.

2 games, we also would be 6-2. Louisville beat us so wouldn’t they have the tie breaker and go? Don’t know all the ins and outs of that.

That throws out head to head because UNC didn’t play us or UL. Goes to record vs common opponents (NCSU, UVA, Pitt); since we have to beat NCSU & UVA to get to 6-2 & tied, we’d be 3-0 vs those 3. UL & UNC would be 2-1 since they lost to Pitt & UVA 😂

head eliminate the loser and the tie drops to 2 ways. In which case, VT is eliminated.

You want us to lose big to NCSU.
This is exactly what was being said before we made the trip to Loserville and got our butts handed to us. Every time I see this now I see Hokie fans who want us to get our butts kicked.
Thanks!

favored vs. NC State (by maybe 1.5 to 2.5), the UL-Miami matchup will be intriguing. UNC has the toughest road - at Clemson and at NC State

..
this late in the season. However, I think a bowl victory would be a fitting close to this promising season as well.
