Or their FBS status is completely invalidated. If there’s no path for the G5 teams, then there needs to be a new football level.

Saying that if they had played a cupcake, instead of Ohio State, they would be 10-2, and a shoe in to make the playoffs with all their top 10 wins. So why bother playing tough out of conference games? There point isn’t completely invalid, but I would blame them missing the playoffs more on them losing to Florida.
