He isn’t their DC so he may do better as just the Linebackers coach. Only

That may be but the schedule was adjusted again this year and the article
I read said this is the 4th time the schedule has been adjusted in 4 years. That’s just ridiculous and it appears every time they adjust, we get the crappy schedule

In 2026, 12 of the teams are doing 9 games the article I read said. I
think starting in 2027 it changes to all but 1 team.

3 of the 4 P4 conferences are having 9 conference games. The only one not
doing that is the B10. Will be curious as to how the figure who goes to the championship game as 12 teams have the chance to go 9-0 whereas the other 5 teams can only go 8-0 at best. Perhaps the schedule is such that it precludes 2 of the 12 teams going 9-0. Guess we will find out.

Don’t understand why ND is mad at the ACC. Miami was ranked ahead of ND
it isn’t Miami that displaced ND, the committee picked JMU to go in over them. Now Tulane got the automatic bid being the highest ranked Group of 5, so that moved 11 and 12 down a spot automatically. That would have put ND in the 11th or 12th spot. Question is why did they put JMU in over ND?

Was Miami put in over ND or was JMU put in over ND? Tulane had the
automatic bid since they were the highest ranked Group of 5 Conference champs, I believe is what I heard/read, and they opted to take 2 Group of 5 Conference champs, but didn’t take an independent team. Or was it stated somewhere that they took Miami over ND? Miami is 10th in the CFP with both Tulane and JMU ranked below them. I didn’t get a chance to watch the selection show which is why I am asking who was placed over ND.

This happens in the other conferences. We see it every year. Is it the
correct way to do things? Who knows. Is it fair to the team being screwed? Nope. It has happened to us. As we all know, college sports are fueled by one thing: MONEY.

so with Franklin everthing I am reading is saying that we are "finalizing"
the deal with him. I haven't seen anything that states he has been hired. is it pretty much a done deal if you are "finalizing" or is there a chance it could still fall apart and he isn't hired?

Think he would be a good coach here. However, I thought the $ being
Put into the school is for all the sports at Tech, not just football. Would make more sense to put it all towards football since it is the #1 revenue generator and the more we make in Football, the more that can be invested in other sports.
