That makes sense, but if they want to pitch around Lynch they can't pitch
around Chat. Look at the previous 2 seasons for Chat. Very good numbers behind Cori Mac. In both situations there is/was a better hitter in front of Chat.

As much as people were complaining about the announcers, she called out the
fielder on the play saying that she was just trying to show off her arm strength and air mailed it.

I don't believe Pete would take Anni out of the starting lineup. I think
He would Gaby coming off the bench in that scenario. I would also have Chat hitting behind LeGette as well. Chat's best was when she was behind Cori Mac

There was a horrendous called 3rd strike on Sam Grube Sunday. It ended up
in a bench player being ejected. Evan Hughes was very upset with it for several innings. He kept referring back to it and mentioned the use of ABS.

By late night do you mean early morning? I 100% agree on location for
April/May. Some of my best fishing has come around 3:30/4:30 in the A.M. I have caught many sitting at the mouth of the last cove on the left side facing the dam or maybe couple hundred feet to the right. I do use live bait more often than not. I did catch a 12 pound hybrid but it was in the marina at the state park. Back then the state record was closer to 13 pounds I believe. Nothing like the sound of a hybrid or striper busting the water and landing on thier side. We always called it a shotgun going off.

Several things of interest in those stats
Jordan is still hitting .444 after cooling off a bit.
Kylie is hitting .412, doesn't get cheated on her swings and only struck out twice. She is seeing a beach ball right now.
Nora leads the team in walks and strike outs. That doesn't happen often.
Addison was an incredible pick up for Pete. She is a huge key to this team.
Bree is having a very special season. How good will she be in a couiple of years?
As we get towards the post season, it is going to be important to get multiple players hot at the plate. We seem to have one get hot and others cool. If we can get 3 or 4 hot at the right time and in the right spot in the line up, this team can be dangerous. The pitching has been very good. I went back 17 games and VT is giving up a tic less than 2 runs per game in those 17 games and has only given up more than 4 run once and that was 10 5 win over Clemson. That is getting it done.

I understand what you are saying but that coach got us to the final 4 with
a generational player. How many generational players have VT had across all sports? Not many, at all. So, he did get us to the final 4 but in that game he did not adjust in the 4th quarter with a 9 point lead. So, to my point if he cannot coach in game when it matters, he is less of a concern even though he has great talent. I do agree with your assessment of the current team. They most likely did outperform their talent.

I think that most people were not as concerned about KB because he sure
seems to screw up or freeze up when games into the 4th quarter. He seems to not have the ability to adjust to other team's adjustments. Right or wrong, very few people have as high of opinion of his abilities as you do.

I was watching the teammates in the dugout yesterday
And the comradery was very strong. Even with the staff they seem to be very tight. Pete must be a master at promoting teammates being close.

6 errors with a .933 fielding percentage. Really good not quite great.
Obviously we would need to know the stats for the others at that position to know if she would move up or down. One thing that is great and bordering on elite about JL is her .940 slugging percentage. Averaging almost a base per at bat. Imo Jordan is the best player on this team. I do think Mizelle has the most potential on the team and has future super star written all over her.

but somebody will take psu down in the next few years. Most likely not 2027 though. Ok St and VT are loading up with complete studs

Agree but if another team Or 2 like OK St joins with VT and
Start really winning individual wrestling titles, psu will come back to the crowd some. 2028 could be very interesting in wrestling.

One takeaway from watching the whole tournament, is that these guys are
Freaking warriors. Pretty much everyone of them is banged up in some way. I think it was the UNI guy that Bullock wrestled that was really struggling. It looked as if his knee was giving him fits. It was cool to see him finish the match even though he was in so much pain. I also noticed that in every action break Siedel would pull on his left side fingers. How injured was he?

Don't let that match score throw you off. AS came very close to a reversal
On the 1st takedown. If that would have happened the match is different. It would have been closer. Aaron got reckless on his next shot and got burned. After that he threw caution to the wind trying to catch up. Playing catch up to JF will get you burned. These 2 are closer than you think. This will just be fuel for Siedel in the off season and has some pure studs to train with. Give him another year in Robie's room. I hope he gets to wrestle Forrest many times over the next 3 years. Its what we as fans want to see. I wish they could go again today.

The acc to be strong. Duke and uva really need to pick it up some. There is always off season discussion about what teams would be good to add to the acc. Like Navy and some others.
