They have more still active in the consolation bracket.
Doesn't this happen every year? VT loses to NCSU in the ACCs but finishes higher in the NCAAs, several times. Last year we won the ACCs but NCSU finished higher in the NCAAs.

The acc to be strong. Duke and uva really need to pick it up some. There is always off season discussion about what teams would be good to add to the acc. Like Navy and some others.
