Posting History (281)

Talked with him couple weeks ago and congratulated on his success. He is a

very humble and a really good kid(known him about 5 years). He likes VT. Does VT like him?

Never touched it from my view. Bunt went to the collar hit and rebounded

back into fair territory . Jordan over ran it because of the kick back. Total fluke play.

Just able to start watching , why did all 3 batters swing at stuff below

the strike zone. Pitcher did'nt throw 1 pitch that would have been a called strike. All 3 swinging at s##t in the dirt. Poor pitch selection from a good hitting team.

Put a 5 gallon bucket with a hole in top on ground behind home plate and

let people walk up and drop in donations every game and have someone collect it every game. You got 1,000 security gaurds sitting there watching. Decorate the bucket really cool and just sit it there and have the PA announcer every so often say " friends of VT softball remember our VT softball love bucket sits down behind homeplate and all proceeds go to support our girls, thank you." I bet they could rake some serious cash during the year.

I was directly behind plate looking up the river of RH box. Ump was

in consistent to say the least. He would be calling a pretty consistent zone ..then just fall off for 1/2 inning. As a coach all i ask is that blue be consistent. Whatever your calling stick with it, so we know what/where to attack and can make offensive adjustments as well. Example..the stanford lead off hitter. Exact pitch -Rang her up 1st and last at bat. Middle at bat he called a definite K a ball and she hits HR on next pitch. The one called a ball was better than the last he called a strike. He definitely had his issues.
