Church league teams played behind the Massengill plant in Bristol TN. The teams prayed around home plate prior to the game. It was, figuratively, gloves off during the game. Rough! Then, they gathered and prayed around home plate.

. . . on anyone. Players at Liberty have voluntarily opted in when they chose to become "Champions for Christ". It's great they have that choice.

. . . groups that CHOOSE to do this either before or after athletic contests. I would have problems with this kind of thing being led by coaches at a public institution. I've seen coaches and FCA reps create environments in which those choosing not to participate have been made very uncomfortable.
