Thirty-eight years ago, we were almost on the back row of the Fayetteville Coliseum - this time we were on the front row. :-) "Moving on up" as George Jefferson would say...lol

...when they were still a R&R band !!

To celebrate, we went to see Alabama tonight at the Roanoke Civic Center. The cool part of that is that 38 years ago, our first date was an Alabama concert in Fayetteville, NC. We all may be older, but Randy Owen, who is almost 76, gives me hope for the future. The man can still sing and move, although there were a few allowances for him in terms of longer instrumental parts and some of the band members periodically singing lead. Still a great show that brought back great memories. I am very blessed.
