first bag was a Kiwi, bought in 1983. I used the tripod straps to hang it from my backpack. Actually kept that bag until a few years ago, until all those foam dividers disintegrated. So the PC lens case could use some leather oil or outright replacement. Check out the wheels- the outer casing completed fractured. I only discovered it this morning when trying to roll. No way i can lug that, plus a tripod bag, around on my next trip.

“Impactful”. On a more serious note: Most municipalities have a blight ordinance that can be enforced to compel property owners to fix/renovate the building. The property tax on the building in its current condition is probably lower than it would be otherwise, so the town is effectively losing money. Its a real life Catch-22 situation, lol!

workhorse camera is my Nikon FM-2 (not my F3), I shoot slide film, have a Kodak slide projector, and I listen to music from one of four vintage stereo amps: Phase Linear, Hafler, Pioneer & Sansui. I even have a Pioneer R2R. Now that our house is empty of canines & parental units, I can finally get back to listening to LOUD music. Oh, and I need hearing aids too, lol! I no longer have access to Autocad since I retired, otherwise I could have overlaid some ideas over top of a google map image; it appears that a bigger issue is that a new structure would adversely affect the practice field. Briefly looking on the map, if the South East stadium were mirror-copied along the 50 yard line, its definitely going to intrude onto the grass. But perhaps, maybe a new structure has a more compact footprint, so it could work theoretically. Longer term though, I think VT & Blacksburg need to develop more pedestrian-focused development plans, and push vehicle parking lots out to the perimeters as land is a valuable resource. What are some strategies that we can develop, even exploit. How do we leverage our knowledge & collective brain power? I included a link to Dan Sui, Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation (his position didn't exist 40 years when I attended). His office should spearhead efforts to not only bring back the slogan, but to incorporate it into every college's business development plans. Actually vehicle access would be less a concern than pedestrian evacuation routes: you would have to ensure that fans are not walking on the same road just as the emergency vehicles are driving up. Tech just has to stipulate in its solicitation that any new design has to maintain existing vehicle access, BUT the administration just has to agree to pay the freight as it were.

indestructable. When we had our Lab years ago, we had to take him to a vet dentist (yes there is such a thing!) and he recommended the Nylabones AND lots of exercise. Puppies and high energy dogs need to be walked for long periods of time AND play time- two different activities: walking for dogs is similar to humans reading the daily newspaper, as the various smells they encounter, convey information.
