This team can be so frustrating to watch at times

Give up 7 3s in a half VT has been horrific around the rim Only 5 assists on 13 made baskets, ball isn't moving Hope 2nd half is better

My take is this, if you want to crow you better be prepared to eat it

I have irrational hatred toward their fanbase. It took everything I had not to taunt every single one of those uva jackasses leaving the Cassell. I'm 53 years old, maybe I'll grow up one day

Don't know if you can find one on short notice, but my go-to for cold

Weather is the AFTCO Reaper Hoodie. It is fleece lined, not bulky and has a built-in neck gaiter that keeps cold off your ears and neck. Throw in some warmers in your shoes with some decent socks and you should be ok.

Anxious

But, it's our job as fans to cover the things coaches can't see. Ha

I was very exasperated by his misuse of exacerbated

I'll be here all week folks, remember to tip your servers and bartenders and don't drive drunk

No, but I am anxious about our perimeter defense

St Joe's has a good lead guard in Deuce Jones, VT will need to slow him down. Who will draw that assignment for VT?

VT needs to improve on Defense

Our guards are having trouble keeping the ball in front of them. Dribble penetration is something to keep an eye on.

Is Gurdak a contributor this season?

I really like the idea of taking 3 or 4 recruits and letting them redshirt. The expanded roster limit at 15 allows you to do this and could help you "stay old" down the line. Use big money to pay 8 or 9 guys, have several others that contribute making good money and the redshirt players making decent money and develop the heck out of them.

The VT fanbase isn't highly educated about college hoops

GC does a great job answering questions, educating and sometimes "telling it like it is" Our fanbase needs voices that aren't afraid of the hard truths and GC is a great example of that. For what it's worth, the TSL staff is very good at those hard truths as well.

$5 million isn't enough

It looks like the number needs to be closer to $10million

He needs NIL money. He didn't have much money to work with

Someone thought it would be a good idea to give a rookie coach with rookie coordinators the majority of the NIL coffers. Meanwhile, there is an experienced Men's ACC BASKETBALL CHAMPION Head Coach without sufficient NIL funding. Bizarro world.

Most VT fans are completely ignorant about hoops

The hate from our fans about players and even Mike Young is mind blowing. MIKE YOUNG WON AN ACC TITLE FOR VT. When VT was admitted into the ACC, I never dreamed we could win a title.

Back in the A10 days, the Hawk was in Cassell

The HokieBird came out with a Stop sign and held it up in front of the Hawk mascot. Then, later the HokieBird came out with a hula hoop and tried to put it over the Hawk so that it couldn't move its wings. Hawk didn't like that too much.

Pop got those sweet feet

If he knows he has a legit shot at 2025 QB1, he'll grow some right mass upstairs

I'm all for revenue distribution based on results, especially football

And hoops. Payouts per school based on their brand valuation and tv ratings seems very "participation trophy" like. If the ACC caves to FSU and Clemson, I'd like for VT to find another home.

Once upon a time, there was a Hokie-hating media member who postulated

That VT would never win an ACC championship. VT has won many. The SEC is certainly a step-up, but I wouldn't bet against VT being competitive.
