Fsu rattled by their 2 turnovers and our possession consists of zero passes and a fadeaway jumper. Score there, one possession game. Get a stop and try to force OT or win at the buzzer. Bad decision by Pedulla

Honestly glad the season is over
I've watched Hokie basketball my whole life, I've seen some bad teams that were more enjoyable to watch than this team. This team is the most frustrating VT team I've watched. I know I'll catch hell for this stance, but it's my opinion. Onto spring sports!

His offensive sets are a shooter's dream.
VT also really misses Mutts and to a lesser degree Basile's ability to pass out of the post. Yesterday, I noticed a few times Kidd was doubled and he couldn't/didn't find the wide open shooter. 2 or 3 of those open 3s a game and some of these close losses and Ws

Allow me to critique Pedulla
9 shots from him in a half is too many when VT has a huge advantage inside (especially with Omier in four trouble). Kidd and Poteat have 5 combined. The Hokies have to feed the post in the 2nd half.
Oh, and continue the defense from the final 8 minutes of the first half.

I feel like the Duke guards were able to turn the corner on our defenders
Force help and then VT was always trying to recover to shooters. Duke's players did a good job making the right plays finding open shooters.

I hoped to see growth and improvement in the new players in Dec
Tough to play 8 games in Nov with some significant time away from campus. The team only plays 5 games in Dec, and should have a lot of time on campus in the gym gelling as a team.
It seems like Nickel and Long can really help this team, they both just need to find consistency on both ends of the floor.

The late EST games aren't for us. They are content for ESPN and advertising
Dollars. I'm too old to stay up watching west coast late night football/basketball games, but advertisers know there is an audience that will and they will pay to promote during those games.

The ACC needs to go to ESPN and pitch a 24 team conf on both coasts. CFB from noon until 3am EST, CBB at 6pm, 8pm 10pm and 12pm EST. Tons of Olympic sports content. Tell ESPN what you want as a payout for each school. Tell ND to commit in-full to the new ACC or kick rocks.
The non action of the ACC has cost them Arizona and Arizona St, if they continue to sleep it could cost them entire ACC.

Be able to have a rational discussion without involving their own wants/emotions. That's one of the main reasons I haven't posted about it. I was extremely happy when we joined the ACC, but it didn't take long for me to begin to realize the ACC "weren't our people".
I don't know what the answer is, but the ACC as it stands isn't it.

The Sabre group as a whole is a miserable bunch
That's one of their go-to excuses, "it's their SuperBowl when they play us"
I particularly like when they villianize a VT player after a loss. Examples would be Dax when he motioned Perkins to get off the field and this year they got all pissy about Pedulla flexing....he flexed toward our bench not toward a uva player. The other laugher was the comments about VT Twitter and all the posts post-game.
I'll keep it somewhat decent, but Frick em, Frick every single one of them.
