In the second half, expect him to do Nijel Pack things and finish with close to 30 points. Hokies have to withstand that and make some shots of their own.

Much better job by VT retaining the lead heading into half time. On Jan. 13, the #Hokies were outscored 13-6 in the last 3:12 of the half. Today, VT outscored Miami 11-1 in the last 4:10. It helped that Miami threw up a bunch of bricks, missing 12 straight (per game announcers).

He was the 2023 Midwest Regional MOP in the NCAA Tournament for a reason.
He's really, really good. Hard to defend. Tech having Cattoor today REALLY makes a difference in most games, but maybe more against Miami than anyone simply because how good Pack is. Helps against teams like UNC, Duke, UVa, obviously, but Pack is one of those guys in the conference that can just score at will.

Allow me to critique Pedulla
9 shots from him in a half is too many when VT has a huge advantage inside (especially with Omier in four trouble). Kidd and Poteat have 5 combined. The Hokies have to feed the post in the 2nd half.
Oh, and continue the defense from the final 8 minutes of the first half.
