Finally played a consistent 40.
Was especially pleased to see how crisp they were when they came out for the 3rd quarter, after getting sloppy for a bit at the end of the 2nd.

There's a pattern though. All season long the pattern has been...
1Q - good, 2Q - good, 3Q - going through the motions, other team gets back into it, 4Q - bite fingernails.
You can get away with that against lesser teams, but you can't win ACC games that way. If the team keeps doing this over and over it's absolutely on the coaches...and on Wenzel/Baker as the leaders of the team. I haven't seen any indication that the coaches are changing anything to try to change the pattern.
This is not to say I agree with "fire Duffy on the spot."

Home fans asserting themselves now, but earlier on it sure sounded like there were stronger reactions on the Hoo side...and noticable distraction efforts on our FTs.

Same game plan as vs. CSU then if we play Vandy.
CSU makes a ton of three-pointers, only hit four against us. They shoot a ton of free throws, only attempted eight against us.
Sounds like the same game plan is in order if Tech plays Vandy.

Possibly weird opinion, they should give half-steals and half-rebounds...
...the same way they give out half-sacks in football. If one player deflects a pass or taps out a reb so another guy catches it, they should get a half stat.
