They beat Illinois who beat FSU by 23
So it’s a better than average win

I think any win right now is a good win…
Especially when you get 10 players in the game and especially get someone like Jenkins a few minutes. Yeah, I know that sounds a little cute, but I’m not too worried about résumé builders right now which I think is what you’re alluding to. We’re just simply not there right now. Yeah, Oregon State was in the NCAA tournament last year but only because they were automatic qualifiers winning the WCC tournament; they were a fourth seed in that tournament. Can you name any of the other WCC teams? Oregon State was one of the two most screwed over teams last year with conference realignment and will be in the reconstituted pac 12 next year. So yeah, that was one of those games VT needed to play well and win so… It was a good win. ** Edited by `lag at 11/29/2025, 10:20:15 PM

JMU 20 pt wins vs low ranked ACC (BC) and B10 (Wisc) BYU competitive
until the 4thQ today vs Vandy makes losses look a little better. ** Edited by 133919Hokie at 11/29/2025, 5:10:28 PM

They were a tournament team because they won the WCC
League tournament. They were the fourth seeded team in their tournament. So no, with all due respect to the WCC, being in the NCAA tournament really doesn’t mean that much. That is they were a 14th seed and got wiped out in the first round by three seed UNC. Not bad though 70 to 49. ** Edited by `lag at 11/30/2025, 9:52:20 AM
