Great efficiency on both ends...
I may have jinxed Tyler Nickel about halfway through the first half. I said out loud, "Tyler Nickel looks like he knows his assignment better defensively" and then he immediately gave up an open 3 (it didn't go in). But outside of that I've been pleased with how much Long, Beran, Nickel, Rechsteiner and Young have looked on both ends.
I'd still like for Long to be a little more proactive, but I think it will come. Great to see both Beran and Nickel shooting the ball well. That will be huge going forward.
How come this board is dead when they are playing well but 847 posts about the NIT during close games?

I hoped to see growth and improvement in the new players in Dec
Tough to play 8 games in Nov with some significant time away from campus. The team only plays 5 games in Dec, and should have a lot of time on campus in the gym gelling as a team.
It seems like Nickel and Long can really help this team, they both just need to find consistency on both ends of the floor.

Nickel, Long, Collins, Beran and Rechsteiner are the key to this team doing something special this year.
Everyone knows what Hunter and Sean can do.
Kidd is a stud.
Poteat is a beast and rarely makes mistakes.
Love seeing personal progress, Rechsteiner and Nickel in particular are developing into legit ACC players.
