Discussing the crying kid…I’m a Boomer and if I had done that?
My Dad would have jerked a knot in my ass…
AND…My Mom would never let me hold up a sign much less let me make one!
Just more of the wussification of our children….

I have irrational hatred toward their fanbase. It took everything I had not to taunt every single one of those uva jackasses leaving the Cassell. I'm 53 years old, maybe I'll grow up one day

I consider myself a reasonable person outside of my disdain for all things uva.

and have no problem with it. He’s probably having a horrible night. I remember letting my 8-year old son stay up late to watch the Tech-BC game on a Thursday night. He was a very passionate fan for an 8-year old and cried when Matt Ryan beat us in their last drive and BC’s dumb coach dancing around like an idiot. My dad would have told me to stop being a crybaby. I wasn’t that harsh but told him sports aren’t worth crying over. I then went to bed and cried in my pillow…. Just kidding. But I was pissed that night.

game. Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it is a lesson he needs to learn sooner than later.

the mother knew of the sign(doubt he had it under his shirt) and approved of what the kid was doing(my son is sooo cute). Parenting 101! Teach your kids that life is not fair. My father would have said..well, you made your bed, now lay in it! (and I know that was not correct English). I am 68 and things were much different ,as far as parents ,back then

We all have to learn lessons the hard way at times.....
But, hey, I remember myself crying like that in New Orleans at the MNC game.
And I wasn't even 50 yet.....

McNabb puking TD pass in 98 game, Temple 98 loss, loss to Matt Ryan in 07, the UGa Sugar Bowl unraveling and the catch that Danny Coale really made. But the 99 Sugar Bowl is still the worst.

But '98 was gut wrenching. You forgot losing the big lead to Virginia. Uva was good that year but that one stung me particularly hard.

Lost 3 games by a total of 10 points combined, 2 games where SU and UVa won in the last minute and Temple where we failed to score in the last minute with backup QB and future safety Nick Sorensen. We were 10 points and 3 minutes from being undefeated that year. It was actually a very good team but lacked Michael Vick.

Clark was serviceable but often hurt. The luck just wasn't on our side. With Vick the next year we drew FSU's best team, arguably. If it happened the year before we win easily as Weinke was hurt and they had no depth. Tennessee was the recipient of good fortune.
