Interesting Tweet from guy who is Illinois voice of wrestling.
One of his rumors have turned out to be true as three Pack wrestlers have announced for the portal today.
He mentions "TOP recruit decommits from BIG 10 school, seems committed to an ACC school. Swapping one shade of orange for another."
That narrows the ACC schools down to UVA and us. I believe Illinois is the only B1G school with Orange as a primary color plus OP is Illinois. Looking at '27 rankings, they have a two FLO top 50 commits projected at 125: P4P #40 Anthony Garza and #44 Turner Ross. Garza is ranked #11 at 113, and Ross is #2 at 106.
Eddie has a year left, and Rozas is the only 125 in the pipeline. Wonder if we will get another 125 commit soon.
Also, OP confirmed that there is turmoil at upper weights at OhSU.

When I read swapping one shade of orange for another (B1G to ACC) my first thought was Iowa to VT.

tOSU upperweights were predicted but we'll see where they go, Lorenzo Norman is a surprise - could he go 184? Could make everybody better to get some depth at the upper weights. Definitely think the "orange" reference favors us over UVA but they've recruited well recently so could be either.

in play for them. Cael won't accept the same type of performance at HWT two years in a row. There were rumors the 197 Mirasola would transfer. Maybe they both leave, and Cael raids OhSU again.

Josh was my suite mate and teammate in the early 90s. Unknown to most, Josh was the head coach at Great Bridge for one year. Josh is a fabulous human being! Based on our development of upper weights, Nick going to tOSU was probably a good decision for him.
