Lineup talk...
I believe this is the lineup Wrestlestat and Flo project with current rankings:
Wrestlestat/Flo
125 r-SR Ventresca #5/4
133 r-FR Campbell #30/30
141 r-JR Crook #27/17
149 SR Henson #1/1
157 GS Miller #18/11
165 r-SO Church #28/23
174 r-JR Desiante #20/15
184 GS Bullock #25/24
197 r-SO Sasso #14/16
285 r-SO Mullen #11/14
I'm seeing 2 should be All Americans, and 3-4 could be All Americans. Who sees it different? Can/should Seidel go at 133? Can/should Burton go at 174? Are those the only two maybes at this point?
Now, a question I have - do you give any thought to redshirting Caleb this year and pairing him up with Bo next year? Bo could go 141, right? Or, could Caleb go 157? And if you're looking to make a run next year, does that lean you toward giving Seidel and Burton the nod this year so they go into next year more experienced? I'm sure balancing the team's needs and the individuals' needs is a tough job.

That being said I wouldn't give it any actual consideration barring an injury. He's the clear #1 and there is no good reason to sit out. It's adding more wear and tear from the college schedule so that he can be the #1 the following year? That's goofy. It's not like having him next year puts Tech in title contention. Someone else mentioned his Olympic aspirations which is a great point too.

Another year to make some NIL. Start a masters degree. Drive SERTC. Help the team. Win a bunch of events unattached this year. Light it up next year!

But he could bulk up to 149. I think 141 is a better lineup with Nininger at 149. i think 149 is a more wide open weight for Bo to win, with Jax and Blaze potentially being 141s in the future. Gorman isn't as far along as Nininger, but has a high ceiling at 141 as well.

133-149, you've got Seidel, Campbell, Gorman, Bo, and Nininger as guys that are likely starter quality, plus an extra year of Crook. Whoever comes out a starter is going to be really good.

Is because it's easier for wrestlers to get to 65Kg from 141 than 149

I think he’s ready to go and not sure how long he can hold 133. Burton needs a redshirt probably. Adjusting to college at the upper weights can be challenging.

He's the favorite to win this year. He's healthy. He needs to start doing freestyle full time sooner rather than later to get ready for the Olympics. Next year isn't the year to go all in on either looking at the lineup.
In terms of this year, I think we have a low floor but a high ceiling. Two title contenders, and a whole bunch of blood round guys. I struggle to pick who, but someone else is going to get hot and AA. My bets would be Mullen, Desiante, and/or Crook.

Real good in the room, same with Crook. Going to be some serious lineup shake ups once we get into November.
Word around camp fire is EV got his medical year. So next year probably is the year, if everyone came back?!
Lots of great momentum and young studs.

I had next year being a bit down in my mind based on Caleb and potentially Eddie being gone. If Caleb hypothetically redshirted, next year could be really big. I get the thought- I actually threw out a similar idea for him to redshirt last year, but I still don't really see it happening.

How are the new Freshmen looking compared to our starters. I've seen a bunch on Seidel but what about the rest.
