Anyone have way too early lineup predictions?
Obviously know one knows this early and I'm sure the coaches don't either with weights and guys potentially taking jumps and with the looming 5 for 5 added. Here's my guess/hope

He's already a big 133 and he's been growing all year. Unlikely but just a thought not sure what calebs cut is like rn

Next years weights...
I know they've said is the plan for caleb to be at 149, but is anyone else starting to get the feeling itll be 141 Seidel, 149 Bassett, 157 Henson? Would let Campbell get back in the lineup, just a thought ive had recently that would still be a FANTASTIC lineup. Lot of this is with seidel entering at 65 kg (143.5 lbs) just a couple weeks after NCAAs and me doubting he can get back down he get hold 133 for the full season given how big he looked too.

Not sure if anyone here mentioned it but Alex Rozas won the LA State Championships at 126 and finished the season 51-3! With him, coluccio, keegan?, mcmullen, bo, turley, fortier, melvin, carini, rocha, and konopka it looks like the coaches are going to be able to build something special when combined with the guys on the roster and some transfers maybe

Also don't think Robie would have seidel redshirt if this was his only..
...year being able to make 133 or if he didn't see a lineup spot for him next year imo

Agree with everything but 149...
...I think if Robie and co feel that Gaj is the best option at 149 this year he should wrestle. Gonna be tough for him to get in the lineup next year at 149 and a.) who knows how much bo is gonna grow in the next year b.) melvin to contend with potentially for 157 next year if he comes early and c.) gonna be hard to shelf seidel next year if he makes a deep run, dont want a rocco welsh type situation
Tough decisions for the coaches but this is why they get paid the big bucks! Great time to be a hokie wrestling fan!

More just that they've changed I'm not familiar with the recert process
Lot of our guys up 2-3 weight classes from where they wrestle at. Obviously if you go over at all you get bumped but it just seems like a lot

Was hoping we'd get to see seidel this weekend but it seems he's still hurt. Henrich was a 2 time NJ champ so he's very good and wonder if Gaj wrestles 149 and 157. Very excited to watch the Hokies this weekend and hope we see the freshman at least for a match!

I get he's a very good wrestler but I find it hard to see him starting...
...in 2027 with what our lineup looks like. Not a knock on him I just think highly of what that room will be. At the very least its a potential point scorer wherever he lands weight wise! I think its most likely we see him sit out this year and one of the true freshman or henrich take over that spot and potentially redshirt next year (henrich has already redshirted) and then we see Miller potentially at 157 or 165 if they still want Caleb to go up
