I think he will do really good things there. He will bring a lot of money with him and he knows what to do with it.

Koll had one of the best recruiting classes in the country this year at Stanford with (I believe) 7 guys in the top 100. I wonder how many of them come with him...

When Stanford wrestled Cornell last year (or year before), there was some drama with Yianni. Shoelace or something if I remember right. Definitely not as cordial as I thought it would be.
Wonder if he can bring them all? Tough to pass up a spot at Stanford though. It will be interesting to see who they hire. They kind of went all in with Koll only to be left a couple years later. Plus, conference realignment could hurt also.
Interesting timing for sure.

I suspect you'll see a number of those kids come with Koll

... primarily based on whatever UNC has become, which isn't nearly as good as they claimed it to be. Lately, UNC's ethics, academics, and politics make them a very difficult equation to "balance". I would not want one of my offspring to attend, not at this point in time.

Nattys spoke to my rotary club in Nc. Someone asked about recruiting , his reply, if you want to complete for nattys you have to recruit nationally and you have to get girls out of SouthernCal, and we cannot get them from Stanford because of academics

UNC is a good education, but not Stanford level. If they really went there for the education, they're staying. I suspect education is secondary to wrestling for some of them though.

I took my daughter there to scope it out they offer only a handful of majors that can land a good paying job. Very much a liberal arts university. No engineering. NC State is a much better choice academically in Carolina, if you want a job.
