This has been happening in college football since "pay for play" was...
...approved. Players have been sticking around in college football for another year because they're getting paid far more than NFL league minimum. IIWII

Let’s see what he does with them. I think he hit his high water mark
It’s the Belichick/Brady conundrum. He was a better than average coach before Liz, a high 1st round WNBA pick before the ACL and Amoore, a 6th overall pick. Liz’s basketball IQ is higher than Strack’s. And then there were Traynor and Soule. Is he Mulkey or C.Vivian Stringer (4 D1 final 4s at 3 different schools) or a perpetual 6th or so finish in the SEC, 2nd round NCAA loss with the occasional sweet 16? ** Edited by Va AandM at 5/8/2026, 8:30:53 AM

That's possible, but I recognize he's an accomplished roster builder, which
is more than half the battle. His recruiting successes, Liz being the greatest, are numerous

This man should send 50 cents of every dollar he makes...
...for the rest of his career to Liz Kitley. Respectfully. 😁

Respectfully, Brooks was not a one trick pony on talent aquistion...
Amoore, Sheppard, Soule, Traylor, Strack are all WNBA or borderline WNBA players. Not to mention other overseas professional level players. Even if Liz is the best college player he recruited, the narrative that she was the only player that made him is just wrong.

Don't worry. There will be enough to carry on the Buzz & Brooks nostalgia!
You, myself, and others, will not be needed!

Interesting thought. He develops what 7 each year?
I agree he does do that well some. Lexi Blue would argue. If I am reading your post right.

I don't really care. I care who UVA, Louisville, UNC, Duke, etc
got... Our direct competition to do well in the ACC.

That would be a colossal waste of money if she gets that.
She is not that good. She was drafted because she is 20 years old and they want to try to develop her. Going to Kentucky would help with developing her. Side note. I hope they did spend that much money on her. And if she fails then UK would have wasted all that money.
