just another VT team that cannot win the big game
You hear all this stuff for VT PODCAST and media, VT is all that, guaranteed tourney, ,ranked, great players, best coaching. however, when it comes down to money games, find a way to lose. It's the same every year.
SOFTBALL
BASEBALL
BASKETBALL MENS AND WOMEN's
FOOTBALL
Is this trend, and the athletic department accepts mediocrity. and I remember Whit's quote we are a program of champions. well well well
Is VT a noviety athletic program, that is average, and only get once in 10 years anything successful other than middle of the pack

Last weekâs game 3 vs FSU doesnât count?
3 wins vs top 15 Stanford donât count?
We lost today because the officials didnât do their job. Lots of non-Hokie softball fans around the country on X were calling out the umpires & ACC for not suspending the game

a perfect reflection of your usual levels of ignorance. Even sadder is there appear to at least be 3 more like you or, maybe you just used some of your other accounts and former posting names.

terms of this season but a big game? Nah. And thatâs the problem with the whole big game complaints. Games that wouldnât be considered big if we won suddenly become big if lose.

had won it would have moved us past Clemson and almost guaranteed us a top 16 spot.

not consider it a âbigâ game. It wasnât on the national stage and it wasnât a win or seasonâs over game. It was a run of the mill conference tournament game. Weâve won plenty of those in softball but they arenât considered âbigâ because we won.

you don't earn the opportunity to "lose" big games without winning big games. It is the constant moving target. Tough loss, but it is a crazy mindset. The fact that anyone suggests that we get "once in 10 years anything successful" is simply lost, confused, or both. Never have understood the urge to run to a message board after a loss and rip everything about your (presumably) school as if it is therapuetic. Send yourself an email if that helps (others may wish to take this advice during games as well)! Can't even get Whit's quote correct. Understand real disappointment, as we all have and will have again.
