It doesn't matter if Cori singles and Jordan doubles or if it happens in reverse. If you remove the HR factor you would want the person with the highest OBP batting first. Move her down and her runs scored may go down because gets fewer ABs and has worse hitters behind her. You can always reorder lineups in specific games to score more runs (except when you get few or no hits of course). But, you would have to maintain that same lineup for all games and you might gain in some places and lose in others. I don't see the HR issue potentially helping us in any game except the 7-6 Pitt loss. Sorry but you can't convince me that 13-4, 8-0 and 9-2 losses could have been saved by a lineup change. a singles hitter (which she is if you take away HRs) then leading her off would be OK.
