When she has two hitters hitting below .250 for the reason and another one sinking to .260, she often comes up with few people on base on 1-2 outs. - She has 59 RBI on 69 hits - She has 29 hrs so 29 of those RBI are her hitting herself in - In 69 hits/29 hrs, she has 30 RBI that involve scoring other people. I mentioned this the other day. Given the season that Jordan Lynch was having, hitting over .400 for a long stretch and hitting 17 doubles, imagine all the times that she would have been on base...even at second with Cori coming up behind her. I don't know if I would have put Chatfield in front of her but Chatfield is hitting .382 and has 21 walks. I could see Cori hitting 2nd behind Lynch or 3rd behind Lynch and Chatfield/ The logic of leadoff was to have more ABs for her.
