Look at the 3rd inning vs. Villanova Against Villanova, McMillan HRed in the 3rd innning after after Martin struck out swinging and Rohs popped up. We lost by 1 run. Lymch was 2-for-3. Scored 2 runs Against UVA, McMillan was 1 for 5. In the 4th inning, she singled with 2-out after Blackwell struck out swinging and Rohs struck out. VT was up 2-1 at the time. Against Pitt, she was 1-for-5 with that one hit being a HR as the first batter in the inning. So assuming she does not get any hits if someone is on base in front of her in the ABs (one was a fielder's choice with Rohs on), then fine. Against Pitt, in the 3rd inning, she flied out to make the 3rd out. Martin and Rohs did not get on base. While I won't count this, I would bet she gets pitched to differently if people are on base. Against FSU, she was 4-for-4... Lynch was 0-fer. The other 4 hits came from people down in the lineup.. So likely if performances repeat.
