That seems to be the consensus to a lot of people, that this ends with

two P2 conferences. I just don't think that is the goal. The BIG and SEC just took the top 4 brands that were available. It was to peak their media deals, and that has been accomplished. Take the top estimate of the BIG's contract for the sake of argument, $100M per team, per year. They currently have 16 teams when you include USCLA. Do you really think there are 8 more teams out there that would not dilute those numbers? Are there 10 additional teams for the SEC that bring those kinds of numbers? Call me crazy, but there a couple in the ACC, one maybe two in the PAC, and ND that MIGHT be worth those dollars. I think the BIG is done, because "reports" say that they only have pro rata for ND, but that, like everything, is negotiable. I think the SEC is done as well. The wild card for now is what happens with the PAC. That will determine the immediate future, and I'm not at all convinced that Fox will shell out BIG money for the North West, or any other schools in the PAC.
