I do too, and it's understated - no one is talking about it. I also think

that the consolidation of the football blue bloods in two conferences is dilutive, and teams that are used to double digit winning seasons are going to be knocked down a peg. There will be only one conference champion in the SEC for example. I don't care who you are, the conference just got tougher to win with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma - the same can be said for the BIG. Who will be the next blue blood that joins Nebraska in obscurity? Will Florida be satisfied with 4 loss seasons in the SEC? Will USC? It will be fascinating how this plays out, and I'm REALLY hoping the PAC stays together, because those auto's will be worth their weight in gold as we all sit back and watch those in the P2 beat themselves out of playoff contention, year after year. Would you rather have a rich athletic department always floundering to find a way to have that double digit season, or would you rather have a hungry pissed off athletic department and fan base playing in the playoffs for a national championship? Does anyone here really thing that Clemson's success can be maintained in the SEC? Or that FSU is a world beater in the BIG or SEC? Be careful what you ask for, because being included in that group goes downhill very fast after the check is cashed.
