You seem awfully concerned with the 12. Currently, they, or

their media contract (whatever it is :)) has no bearing on the ACC, or the ACC's future other then the fact that they are in your backyard with UCF, and possibly UCONN. My interest in the ACC is from a fans perspective. If there is a possibility of the Old Big East schools somehow finding their way to playing in the midwest???? It might be the only thing from my perspective that would be good about the ACC splintering. The Big12 has a flag in the ground in Florida. We don't know how this plays out, so if the 12 is in fact looking to build a basketball conference, then so be it, as the 12 has already lost the football battle.
