to use the NFL for an argument on relevancy? The league has a system built on parity and competitiveness which fuels its massive popularity. Some teams win more than others but, EVERY fan base and team thinks/knows they have a shot if they are not their own worst enemy. MLB has improved competitiveness as well with Tampa, Houston, etc.. You pretty much made the case for me on the irrelevance of the three programs. Thanks. I wouldn't include PSU in the relevant list and Clemson with 2 nattys and a few more playoff appearances is likely still included despite moving out of the mix the last couple of years. So far your argument would seem to more call into question exactly how clear-eyed your opinion might be.
