No difference for an university who operates a R&D Effort or Medical school
Many Sports fans have NOT A CLUE, on how rest of universisties manage their entrepuener enterprises. They have no interest or care about university operations, For Example VT operates another enterpise that operates the DOE nuclear accelrator in Newport News, its a 3 billion dollar contract, or the 500 million innovation center complex in northern Va. and the new 300 million dollar building control cyber sercurity center with HITT industries in Falls Church.
We are just using the same smart business for athletics and guess what it is a business entirely.
