4th of July show was the Dixie Dregs (Steve Morse) and the Flying Burrito Brothers at Burruss. Show ended in time for fireworks, which might have been on the drill field, or Chicken Hill. Back then the town and VT went in together on fireworks. Now its just the town.

family and I go back every Summer to visit. It's funny, my kids have only really seen Blacksburg in the Summer until this past Spring Break when my 16 year old daughter and I drove through campus during a class change. She couldn't get over how many people there were.

Downtown was chill too. I hit up summers of '91, then '93-'95 (grad school) there.

Didn't finish early, never intended to shorten my time, either. I just knew it'd be a blast, and it was.

This is the exact scene playing outside my house...
SOBW came home last week, no exams except one online. DOBW showed up last night after finishing up hers Wednesday. See turned 21 on reading day, so I'm guessing she got her swerve on Wednesday night.
Wife accurately described our children as the x-axis, y-axis and 3rd dimension...
