Where are you watching the eclipse.......................?
I experienced the 2017 Total Eclipse on a mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains NP. See below 4 pics. Monday, I will be watching a 90% total eclipse on Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah NP.

I'm obviously in the minority, but I'll be at work and am really not...
...planning to go out of my way to see it. Richmond isn't in the "path of totality", but I guess I'll walk outside and look around for a minute or two, and then I'll get back to work. I was underwhelmed by the 2017 eclipse as viewed here in Richmond. I didn't buy anything to allow me to look directly at the sun, so it just seemed like it suddenly became dusk for a few moments, and then it was quickly back to normal daylight levels.

An eclipse party in Carmel, In about 1/3 mile from my house. Airlines have
added flights to Indy so people can take on busses downtown to view the eclipse. They're predicting 600K visitors for it.

Saw the last one on a mountain in Banff, CA.
This one probably stepping outside from the office. Which is fairly close to old-rag (20ish min) so now I'm thinking!

It’s going to be crazy there. A relative farms just south. Has RV parking
He’s between Mill Village and Waterford. This is a windfall for his family

W PA is going to benefit greatly from this event
Hotels are booked. I can't imagine how packed Presque Isle will be. My son's GF lives in Girard and has a good bit of property for great viewing. Erie is bouncing back but still struggling economically. The investment Gannon University and Erie Insurance have put in the Bayside has been tremendous, but the East side needs a lot of help.

Probably online. But here's the most decent path predictor -
We'll get: Partial solar eclipse visible (81.01% coverage of Sun) Magnitude: 0.8402 Duration: 2h, 32m, 40s Partial begins: Apr 8 at 1:53:30 pm Maximum: Apr 8 at 3:11:25 pm Partial ends: Apr 8 at 4:26:10 pm ** Edited by PhotoHokieNC at 4/3/2024, 6:57:16 AM ** Edited by PhotoHokieNC at 4/3/2024, 6:59:08 AM

I'm probably working through it.
Should be 86-90% coverage here in the 757, but these last two weeks are gonna be hella-busy.
