Seeing Roswell's post below, what are movies you'll never watch a 2nd time?
There are several I'll never watch again:
- The Exorcist - too creepy
- Leaving Las Vegas - too freaking depressing
- Blair Witch - absolutely loathe "shaking the camera" as a video effect. Hate that crap! There was at least another movie using that technique, and I won't watch it again either.
- Marathon Man - just for the dentist scene alone.
Not a huge list, but there is at least one more I can't think of now...

once it when it came out, and when I was trying to teach my son about the importance of WWII. He sat in silence for about five minutes and went upstairs to his room and I didn't see him the rest of the night. I think he got it.
Also, no more Nicolas Sparks movies! Wife starts watching them I find something else to do!
and Brian's Song(I have seen it more than once) don't want to see it anymore!

8 is the worst of them all and then 9 just seemed ridiculous. The Force Awakens was fun in the theater and could have launched a decent trilogy. The environmental BS and idiocy of the The Last Jedi killed all the momentum.

I finally learned my lesson and just skipped 9.
But 7 and 8 are movies I've only seen once and have no interest in seeing again.

i remember watching it originally at the Lyric in the Burg - talk about an intense experience.
The first hour really nails the blue collar western PA ethnic culture - reminds me of how well The Godfather created the mood and backdrop of the mafia culture. Then of course it takes a 180 degree turn and just drops you into (the middle of the war ) Vietnam without any warning or precursor. Will probably finish it tonight

reminds a bit of Apocalypse Now- which is a sort of "fantasy based reality".
the odd part about Deer Hunter is that is switches gears so abruptly from very relatable (no hyperbole) to over the top.

Hudson Hawk made me swear off Bruce Willis movies for a few years.
Sense and Sensibility was so boring I hung out in the movie theatre lobby for about 30 minutes waiting for it to be over while my wife and mom watched.
Bridges of Madison County was another chick flick I’ll never watch again.

That movie seems to hit some extremes in who likes it. I DID like it,
while recognizing that it wasn't a cinematic masterpiece, but it had more than a few things in it that I'll think about today and still laugh at.

Watching BOMC, I had to laugh at the double standard. When a man cheats on
his wife, he’s portrayed as a horn dog out for a piece of arse. But in BOMC, it was the husband’s fault that Meryl cheated because he brought this worldly woman back to his home in boring old Iowa after the war. The affair with Clint was such a beautiful thing that by the end of the movie, the children of Meryl and the husband were celebrating it.

Disagree on Marathon Man, awesome movie. "Is it safe?"
Other movie types I will no longer watch a 2nd (or possibly even a 1st) time: Any and all Marvell, etc. Superhero movies, I'm sick as a dawg of those stupid azz plotless fantasies. Also, Barbie.
I'm also bracing for a series of bad movies involving AI. It's fairly obvious this term is overused and completely misunderstood by the general public and even most financial talking heads.
In general, Hollywood's output is sucking pretty hard these days.
