Speaking of Nikita Koloff...
For some reason I've started going back and watching some WCW Saturday Night Episodes from 1992. WCW Saturday Night at 6:05, immediately followed by Braves baseball at 7:35. Ah, those were the days.
But man, that WCW stuff was horrible when Jim Herd took over. And they had some serious talent, too. Steve Austin, Hall (The Diamond Studd), Vinnie Vegas (Nash), even Scotty Flamingo (Raven). And Pillman, too. Sting, Steamboat, Rick Rude, Vader, etc. Still a very good roster even losing Flair and Luger. But man...their booking was horrible. They probably would have folded that year or '93 if Turner hadn't kept them afloat. In 1992, they came up with the brilliant idea of doing 2-out-of-3 falls for Main Events. Nothing is worse than watching Koloff and Larry Zbyszko go 30 minutes in a 2-out-of-3 falls match.
