Vet called. Sounds like some time in the next couple of months
I'm going to have to help my dog to cross the bridge. That's going to suck. We'll do our best to keep her going with the prescription diet, but if she won't eat it then she won't eat it.

the prescription diet. At first a few would eat it but the novelty wore off quickly. Good luck, and I hope she eats it and gets some more time, its a tough spot to be in.

recently lost a 15 yr old Seal Point Siamese, Orion was in renal failure for several mos , poor guy was just walkin skeleton & simply stopped eating ; just remember she absolutely lived her best life , just tough to accept we are only loaned em for a relatively very short while 🐕🐈

top, canned peas (no salt added) and steamed carrots are good for them..maybe she'd like them alone or mixed in..maybe even some bone broth on top of kidney friendly food...
our dog likes to fake pretend burring before eating....hilarious to watch

telling. Our 'Marge', who we lost in 2013, went from the heartiest of appetites to refusal in a matter of two days. Neither wet dog food nor baby food would work. Kibble slathered with beef gravy - she just stared at.
