Crash hard? Nope. Just a normal correction.

The Dow hasn't - yet, "Technically" the NASDAQ just did
markets have always cyclically been in "correcting" mode, while maybe not a noun "correction" ** Edited by RTFC at 3/11/2025, 1:20:30 PM
Stork Stork
It is currently under the definition of a “correction” because not enough
time has passed to reach a “bear market”. We are on the way to that now. We’ll get back to you in a bit when that occurs. And maybe even a recession.
RTFC RTFC
No, the Dow is not - reading for you - correction is usually defined as 10%
The high at end of 2024 was just shy of 45,000 10% would be down 4500 Right now ~41,200 down about 3,800 or 8.44% As I said the Dow is not there - yet - the Nasdaq is. ** Edited by RTFC at 3/11/2025, 2:21:57 PM
Stork Stork
Well, that took 2 days. We’re now in a Correction.
RTFC RTFC
But you were wrong implying it was past correction....and I did say "yet"
This type of misinformation being spread when someone has an ulterior motive is killing the country. And a bear market that you mentioned typically isn't measured by "length of time" it usually (by most, not all) is indicated by a 20% drop - and we may go there yet - I'm not suggesting things are hunky-dory - but being "correct" is far too out of fashion, instead being first to post on the bandwagon is in vogue.
Stork Stork
Getting back with you. Took less than a month to hit a “Bear” market. As
some of us predicted. We know what’s next.
RTFC RTFC
"- and we may go there yet - I'm not suggesting things are hunky-dory"
