Great for working out.
Then I got some JBL earbuds that I have liked, but would eventually fall out when running.
Tried the beats fit with the inner ear hook thing. Great reviews and everyone says they stayed in…but not for me. No matter which size or how I positioned them, they would slowly turn in my ears and fall out, so I returned them.
Was waiting for the Jabra’s to go on sale but moved to apple before I had a chance.
Just got the AirPod pros and they are the best I’ve had. Didn’t think I’d be a fan of the “stem”, but they stay in better than any other in ear bud I’ve had.

amount of bass. The only drawback is the case does leave the earbuds exposed...so if you drop the case sometimes
the bud(s) will scatter several feet away. They seem to work a good distance away from your phone when you are doing yard-work, etc.

They're more comfortable and harder to lose. Also bone conduction headphones leave the ear open so you can still hear what's going on around you.

someone. Case functions as additional battery/charger. If you are in the Apple exosystem, they are worth every penny. Wifey is now required to go in to office where nobody else is there. These allow her to listen to podcasts and maintain sanity. Saw commercial the other day that they can also operate as hearing aids. Oh, and you can track them. Someone on here a while back said the music stops if one falls out so you notice it.

...because I use them mainly for taking phone calls while working at my computer. I like having the earbuds hang around my neck when I'm not using them, and then I can just grab them and put them in my ears if someone calls. I'd constantly lose wireless ones.

...only wired to each other, but are not wired to my phone. So the earbuds are connected to each other by a ~18" cord that I can hang around my neck when not in use, but there is no wired connection to the phone.

...because you know one will fall out at some point. I ended up buying an inexpensive pair similar to the second picture off Amazon several (3+) years ago and they're still going strong. I thought they had stopped charging, so I bought a pair of Shokz headphones when Costco had them on sale, but the charge LED started working again so I'm still using the first pair.
The Shokz will stay on the shelf as long as my cheap ones are working (and charging). Recommend going on Amazon to find the cheapest waterproof ones you can find for gym use. They'll probably take years of abuse.

The noise cancelling isn't nearly as good as the Apple version, but the cost also wasn't nearly as high.

old Apple earbuds that I only recently began using. Seamless connection to my iPad so I can study CE inspector courses while I go get my oil changed and tires rotated later this morning. Without these earbuds I probably couldn't even finish my breakfast and get ready to go.

My daughter has some bone conduction headphones, of sorts.
Not buds, but they also don’t cover her ears, so she can hear when someone is speaking to her. I’ve worn them once, and the sound is excellent, and you don’t end up with ear wax on them.
