That will be the biggest challenge for VT. The O line will need to be significantly better. I believe they'll improve, but will it be enough in 2026...

Had a very negative effect on the OL performance. The guy struggled to complete a screen pass much less stretch the field so DCs could take more risks attacking the OL. Sure they may get burned once or twice in a game but will make up for it when I get a bunch of sacks and turnovers. Having an actual passing threat will add add at least a second to the time the QB has. I’m also encouraged that the OL was able to create running lanes despite having the D stacked against them. They can perform and just need a QB that can do his job too.

The problem was an entirely broken pass game. Every component of it had strengths and significant flaws, but the OC's game planning, adjustments and play calling seemed to oblivious to the tools he had and didn't have.

Frank also didn't pass up (almost) sure points. If he had a "makable" FG, he took it.

plus, they will benefit greatly from a qb that delivers the ball on time instead of holding unto the ball for a full second or longer than he should
