Baseball...YES. Football....not so much.

Vandy sucks. Basically like playing Ferrum

Nah……ODU is better than Vandy.

In a word - NO- at one time they had 3 QBs leave the program
At the end of the season…if our offense shows up as expected we should roll as they won’t have any

I would think Titans’ Stadium would be more advantageous to the Hokies, as it has enough room where our fans could negate their home field advantage.

other SEC teams routinely take over Vandy's stadium.

that they're going to be not very good this season. he seemed quite confident in his assessment of vandy's suckiness.

Went on a college road trip to the tech vanderbilt game.
What a fun trip.
Except for the game...
It was a game with two 5-3 teams where the winner was likely to go to a bowl.
Vandy had a good QB, Whit .., can't remember his last name.
Long story short, we lost 45 to 0.
It was a blur.
We need revenge!

In 2013, Vanderbilt defeated Florida, Georgia and Tennessee in the same season.
James Franklin worked some miracles.
Vanderbilt has four seasons of nine wins in its history and two have come under Franklin the last two years. In 2012 and 2013.
Doesn't seem that long ago.

the Jerry Kill revenge game
I mean we lost to Marshall, Purdue, and Rutgers last year... so I'd say Vandy (SEC) will give us all we can handle in week 1. Week 1 games are interesting because most teams believe they can win (no losses yet) at that point in the season.
Diego Pavia (QB) followed Jerry Kill to Vanderbilt from New Mexico St...
C-USA Offensive Player of the Year /Quick Lane Bowl MVP
vs Liberty last year: Pavia would have a career night against Liberty as the Aggies were 24.5 point underdogs; Pavia would help his team shock Liberty as he completed 16 of his 21 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns. He was also a huge threat on the ground, rushing for 125 yards and three touchdowns

and run over the Auburn defense and keep the ball away from AU offense for most of the afternoon by making first downs on 3rd and 4th and short all afternoon. Reminded me of one of the GT games against the Paul Johnson offenses, you could see the panic on the Auburn sideline once they got down a few TDs realizing they had very few possesions left in the game and were going to need to score on all of them to win..

heck out of Jerry Kill and that QB. I hope we blow them out, but I wouldn't be surprised if we are sweating in the 4th.

VT possessions from our offense which is our strength by going for it on 3rd and 4th downs. Our best bet is to score quickly and have them play from behind and take them out of that gameplan

But if we can't beat the worst team in the SEC, might as well fold up our football tents and go home...lol
(I wouldn't have said that entering last season)
