Was Andre Kendrick the most underrated RB in VT history? Check it out.
Or maybe you have another candidate.

Tony Paige wasn't talked about much during his college career, but...
...he ended up having one of, if not the longest NFL career of any VT RB.

Paige was so good in college, you didn't watch the tailback, you watched
Tony's bowling ball blocks and then looked for the tailback.

He is on the short list.......
but, Mickey Fitzgerald, Cornell Brown and a few others would likely have differing opinions.

Thanks for posting. That stutter step move he had was great
and so good at patiently setting up his blocks.

Definitely near the top of most underrated.
He was really good. Marcus Parker was also very underrated IMO.

We'll see if it changes after this season...
but I think Tuten isn't getting nearly enough love. He's got it all: speed, quickness, strength, hands, vision, balance. I think he's going to prove to be one of the best RB's VT has ever had.
GCHokieof91 GCHokieof91
I agree, Tuten is very impressive

Marcus is he only VT player to score a TD in 3 different bowls
Unfortunately his one in the Gator Bowl was called back on a phantom holding call.

DeShawn McClease had 100 yards rushing in 3 straight bowls.
Unfortunately, we lost all 3.

Would have never guessed that

Good call. Marcus was a talent too.

Kendrick had great.......
vision and balance and was patient in using his blocks. He was also blessed with arguably the best, or one of the best, combinations of OL and blocking RBs and WRs that VT ever had. Absent the knee injury in high school Marcus Parker would have been really special and likely ends up somewhere besides VT. Branden Ore was very underrated as well. Both Ore and Kendrick kind of glided along until the time to plant that foot and go.

Do you think having Vick at QB
Helped him as well. All eyes were on #7.

Having Michael Vick......
in the offense helps everybody but, Kendrick was shifty and patient in using his blockers.
