Top 40 is all we need. The others really don’t have a chance to compete
If we don’t institute some budget caps soon. It’ll be the top 10-15 semi-pro teams that only have a legit shot with their high priced coaching staffs, facilities and rosters.

I like the underdog role. Chip on the shoulder, hungry for it, go & get it
Top QB in the ACC. This season will be a huge test for Pry & Co. Can they consistently coach a good roster to victories? No more excuses. I will be really surprised and very disappointing if we don’t finish the year in top 20.

I hate how we have gotten away from going for punt blocks…we used
Get after them and if we didn’t block it, they shanked a lot of them and we end up with great FP. Setting up fair catches just sucks.

That’s what really bother me all last season and the start of this season…
Wells looked exactly the same week in and week out. Zero improvement. Same execution, same results. But our coaches did not see the potential and make the changes until forced to.

All you need is #1 to get separation and catch anything in his radius.
Then they start to double cover and #2 and #3 are more open.

Years. Rarely, is there an NFL game without at least one Hokie on the field and often multiples. Unfortunately, our coaches haven’t been able to quite put it all together in quite some time.

Have to build and earn loyalty. To the AD, ALL FREAKING STUDENTS THAT WANT
A TICKET, SHOUD RECEIVE A TICKET W/ a seat number! This lotto crap is such BS. My son has won one ticket in two+ years! The students pay athletic fees. VT exists because of the students, for the students. We went to all the games in ‘91-‘92 even when losing and had fun. The losing makes you appreciate and enjoy the winning even more but most of the kids don’t even get the chance to experience either these days.
P.S. We were at the WF game (bought my son and his friends tickets and they stayed until the end). The morning was pretty nice and a lot of people were under dressed for the rain/second half weather. I don’t blame them for leaving, VT AD shows no loyalty and appreciation for them.

Stop dissing these kids. Solid 3* recruits with some 4s. The coaches have
To develop them and put them in the best position to succeed. We have more talent than ODU, Purdue, Marshall, Liberty, etc. We should be winning these games if it’s all about talent.

Games are different than practice. He is getting comfortable, game slowing
Down for him as he seems more love action. Always had more uoside than Wells who has not improved at all from Marshall to VT.

They had some moments. Shut down PUR 3rd Dn game until that last drive
Coming out of the delay, they looked pretty good. Just got worn down at the end.

In Wells’ defense, he did lose our top two WRs and we have NO run game…
He does not look the part but coaches still not putting our guys in best position to succeed.
