After 8 scoreless overtimes it's decided the game will be decided by a tug of war by the cheerleaders. The Hokies pull the BooHoos across the 50 yard line at 1 am for the W. Our cheer squad runs off the field and the turf crew cuts on the sprinklers encasing the invaders in sparkling Zima like ice. At least the memory of the Wake Forest 0-0 spectacle is erased from our collective memories. Pop stayed in the honorary Hendon Hooker warming tent the entire game (don't blame him).
