I doubt UNC actually pays much more than 1/2 of it.

I may be in the minority but I think Malone will do well. He’s a good coach
and he’s very connected with the top agent overseas. Some of the best European players may be in Carolina blue. Worked for Illinois

Bingo, the quickest way to succeed at a high level right now
Is bringing in high level more seasoned "pros" from abroad to counter the Duke model of dominating high school talent. And until somehow the system gets reformed why not do it if you have the resources?
