I started counting in the 3rd quarter how many times they shot with more
Than 15 on the shot clock.
I may have missed some, but it was 20.

Take 5-10 seconds more and you’ve bled 3 minutes off the clock.
The announcers noted it several times - the knicks want the spurs to play fast. And that’s what they did.

Until his mental fortitude showed itself, all evidence pointed to the NBA
he needs to learn to take a punch and punch back. As he struggled later in the year, the mental fortitude to keep punching waned.
All the while he continued to be one of the first to celebrate w/ a teammate a good play.

Yep, even the football jerseys in late 90’s / early 2000’s for throwback
Games. I remember the throwback game from 2000 and holding Ben Taylor’s in my hand saying thinking, what is this piece of junk.
It had the swoosh on the outside and the manufacturer brand on the neck line.

A peer in rural, not in hoops history. That factors in and does mattter.
They have been to the tournament far more often than not. 2000-2010, only a couple, but the 80’s, 90’s and since 2012 which is the most relevant, they’ve been a mainstay in the tournament.

That is fact. The freedom the team noted early on is non existent once
we recognize the names on the front of the other team. Early on, the players were talking about how free they were to get out and go....now? Not so much.

You don’t think some of natural ability places people into high jump, etc.?
Sure, you can work on efficient motion, strength, etc. but I don’t think taking someone with an 8” vert and getting them to 12” is going to move the needle for what Chris is saying.

I'm saying, the other 4 players on the floor benefit to him being on the
floor. Period. The other teams are focused on him, freeing up Hammond, etc. to excel.
I leave the projections to the pro's, all of which have him in the first round. You can accept, or not, that fact, but it doesn't mean he isn't slated to hit the first round.

you don't notice that his presence on the floor makes life more open for
the other 4 on the court. it isn't always about the stats. and do you know if someone wasn't in the wrong spot when he turned and jumped to pass? it's like an interception - not always the QB's fault.

For example, in our last conversation, and I’m hesitant to call it that, you inferred that i was dumb b/c the only way I could get a degree is with a tutor.
But, you see, while I did not need a tutor, there is nothing wrong with looking for help in an area of need. So, for anyone at school that decides to go get a tutor, I say, good for them.

use it as a relegation model.
be in teh better conference for better SOS, theoretically. would operate as 2 conferences, but teams would or could change annually. worst two drop out (or whatever) top 2 come in.

Yeah, if they are out of school they shouldn’t be playing?
I get it if you don’t think pro athletes should make as much as they do, but they do.
And, grown professional adults in the US and around the world are making in most cases, far more than they would as a financial advisor.
