rule change would eliminate most of it: all fouls should be one shot and the ball back. That's all fouls from the start of the game - no six foul cushion each half. Last two minutes of the game that would change to two shots and the ball back. That would pretty much eliminate a team from gaining an advantage by fouling.

The video appears to skip over a major detail of that comeback...it went from UNLV making two free throws to Fresno making two free throws with zero time elapsed, followed by Fresno inbounding the ball. Was a technical foul called on UNLV?

That’s somehow worse than all of our losses even the Stanford one, only because they did almost everything right.

...they gave up uncontested threes while also fouling on twos. They were reckless with the ball throughout the final minute but mostly got away with it until the final catastrophic inbounds. But they also must've committed some kind of technical or flagrant foul there in the final 10s because Fresno St got 2 shots and the ball.
Other than the FT shooting it kind of looked like a calamity to me.

frustrates me most about basketball. UNLV almost did everything right. They shouldn't have fouled 2-pt attempts a few seconds into the shot clock and they had a reckless in bound, but... when you can trade 2 FT attempts one way and 3-pointers the other way and there really isn't a great way to stop it, that doesn't seem particularly fair, IMO.

Be an advantage. 1 and 1 should go for sure. Once in the double bonus if fouled outside of the 3 point line. It should be 3 shots.
Plus I hate how the refs help. They call a foul right away. They never call an intentional foul.

but when driving you cough on the guy and it's a foul
it's frustrating but MBB is designed for late comeback. WBB doesn't have this uses cause 2 free throws instead of 1:1
To their credit Stanford made several late contested 3 while we struggled to simple shots
