I think that's a good idea in the long run but given how fast battery tech
is changing I think that might be limiting in the near term. I suspect in a decade we will be closer to a point where the cost vs technology curve is better understood and there will be a defacto 'winner' and then you'll see standardization and the opportunity for 3rd party manufacturers to come in further drive down cost.

The weakside pass from the high post was one of my biggest takeaways
getting the ball in the high post gives you so many options and should put pressure on the defense but we made it easy to guard in game 1....gotta look weakside, low post, look to drive or pull up for the elbow jumper once in awhile

yep, I do not get the hate on this board (and from certain groups) on EVs
....who doesn't want a car with almost infinite torque and horsepower that goes from 0-60 in 3 seconds plus gets rid of the annoying hump in the middle of the backseat and provides more storage space (frunk, front trunk)?
If they had to do it all over again and marketed EVs as performance upgrades to ICE instead of environmental aspect I bet they'd have been received a lot differently.

I'm sure the losses aren't on a per unit basis, I assume they made a
significant capital investment and so every additional unit they sell offsets that so scaling up production would be a good thing financially. Of course if the demand isn't there then there's not positive cash flow.
I'm always skeptical of reports like this, I'm sure all these companies assumed early losses, the question is how they're are tracking to their projected ROI...if that hasn't panned out as expected the return is longer than expected but losses aren't necessarily a bad thing for new technology. They claim losses for taxes proposes and gain market share going forward

we're heading out there next month for 6 nights, 3 around Bozeman and 3
in Jackson. Would welcome any suggestions. It's been a crazy spring so I've done almost no planning but need to get on that this weekend. 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 6, 7, 9, 9

we have 33# mini Bernedoodle....she's a great dog...smart, great with kids
and people in general but also protective against strangers (though I think she'd just end up licking them to death), friendly to other dogs who are friendly to her but has a sense for when other dogs are mean, puts up with my son's over the top cuddling and has never bitten him once (and I wouldn't blame her if she did), is so soft and easy to take care of. My daughter wants a second dog and I would support it but my wife doesn't think we'll get as lucky again and so far has said no.

so instead of upgrading a decades old electrical grid that needs it even
before EVs are considered we should just stop making EVs?
Electrical usage goes up every day, I think we should adapt and build in some margin

I'd be for it. Few reasons 1) let's kids play more games, that's how you
get better 2) gives kids from the 3pm a break, playing back to back games is a disadvantage and poor scheduling for the #1 seed. If they played the 1v4 game first then I could go either way.

1. If I hung out at your house just last weekend, wouldn't I already have your number?
2. You're banking on the fact that I lost my wallet a week ago and hadn't realized it yet
3. I somehow doubt if I reply that they'll give me an address to swing by (of course that assumes I was black out drunk and don't recall where I was last weekend)

Luckily my house is in a culdesac but in the area there are tons of houses
where that's simply not feasible....roads a mile long that have decent traffic and no good place for a truck with a trailer to pull off on....but the home values and income levels often mean people have landscaping companies so IIWII.

Counterpoint, not a good look for people that are supposed to take care of
the lawn to be driving on it. I'd be pissed in anyone, much less my landscaper parked on my grass. I get that they're partially blocking traffic but if they're 2 foot onto the lawn they're still blocking traffic so seems people just need to chill and let others pass when anything is blocking the road

I'm guessing they can't issue the 3 year ban without some due process so
the interim ban allows for immediate action while the rest is settled in court or UFs version of honor court, etc.

almost hit his head on the rim at 0:41....can't tell if he can shoot a
12' jumper or not based on that but dude has hops and gets at the offensive glass...and those hops translate to shot blocking as well....will be fun to watch

those speeds are crazy to me.....before this year, I'd only been skiing like 4x...did 10 days this year and loving it but I'm still very much learning and max out around 30mph at this point.
