OK Carol Lee rant
Picked up a dozen couple weeks ago. First time in awhile. While still delicious, they were more like "donettes" mini sized for sure. Shrinkflation has struck our beloved institution!

I say this as a 40+ year ump, you could literally never swing and probably score 10 runs in 60% of HS and 80% of U16 and below. Never EVER had a coach ask me to tighten my zone!

Friend of mines daughter was VT's lead twirler couple yrs ago
She didn't get a dollar! Put in hours of practice. Told her she was WAY better at what she did than the guys playing were at what they did!

Pearl Harbor- get the 3 site ticket
AZ memorial is one of those things you'll remember forever.
Maui- Hana road. Make many stops! Drive it all the way around. Not as bad as people say. Stayed in cool Airbnb in Hana. Hike to waimoku falls. Also stayed in Airbnb in Kihei, cool town.
If possible hit Big Island.

One of, if not THE most overrated shows evah!
And the last season was horrible. Wife loved it so I suffered in silence. The amount of time devoted to Jimmy and horses dancing in circles was insufferable in itself. Combined with Sheridans creepy lust for young women ( see Landman- don't get me started) that last season was a disaster.

Saw them w Mellencamp in 2009
Bethel Woods, 40th Anniversary of Woodstock. JM opened and blew it away. Willie next and tried. Dylan closed and I lasted about 4 "songs". Exactly as you described.

I umped a few of their games
I believe 2-3 played on VTs team. Top pitchers a stud. 85+ fastball and good slider.
A lot of good pitching. Held U Maryland to 2 runs in 3 games. 20 straight scoreless innings.
Came into regionals as #4 seed I believe. Great that they're moving on!

NF is beautiful but after about 2 hours you're done.
American side more natural and up close to falls but not as expansive as Canadian. Canadian very touristy. The NF parkway up to Niagara-on-the-lake is a nice drive with some really good wineries.

Watching tonight was the Bizarro-VT
Announcer gushing over a VT role player. A basically unknown Hokie going for career high. A former VT guy non-factor. All on the road. Nice to see another fan base(all 2-3 of them) suffering what we've been through so many times!
