The MV’s have arguably improved considerably over the 50+ years since their inception. Unlike some other major college bands, the MV’s have performed without issuing many/any scholarships to band members.

She didn't get a dollar! Put in hours of practice. Told her she was WAY better at what she did than the guys playing were at what they did!
