Fam saw Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan last night, what's up with Dylan?
They are both old, yeah. But Nelson was engaging and entertaining. Dylan stood still for his set, didn't talk to the audience, with no close up camera work. He just sort of stood sideways and "sang." Our daughter claimed he was animatronic. Is he really ill and touring for funny? Just angry? It was weird.

He's a troubadour and songwriter. Not much else. I've only seen him on TV but I've never seen anything different. I've heard that he mixes up his live sets so much sometimes you have no idea what you are gong to get.

...when he performs in the NRV-Lynchburg area.
He's incredibly talented in his own right (new album out this week) but made his living performing Willie Nelson tunes in Nashville and beyond for many years. These days he lives, works and hangs out in Bedford.

Bethel Woods, 40th Anniversary of Woodstock. JM opened and blew it away. Willie next and tried. Dylan closed and I lasted about 4 "songs". Exactly as you described.

performer, even back in the day. Then I heard the lyrics to Wagon Wheel and began to doubt his songwriting capability. 😆
Seriously, though... never considered him a great performer nor had any desire to pay money to see him play.

during a concert. My mother has seen him in concert probably around 20 times and I think she has only commented once or twice about his interaction with the audience.
